Isolated limb infusion (ILI) is a method of delivering super-high doses of chemotherapy directly to the tumor in an extremity. At Moffitt Cancer Center, this is one of the many advanced therapies that our oncologists use to treat in-transit and recurrent melanoma, as well as unresectable soft tissue sarcoma of the extremities.

Specialty trained WMH staff provide outpatient chemotherapy and other intravenous infusion therapies. Located on the second floor of the Medical Office Building, the department's services include antibiotic infusions, therapeutic phlebotomy, blood transfusions, gammagloubulin administration, intravenous prescription treatments for osteoporosis, arthritis and Crohn's Disease, allergy injections, vitamin infusions, and infusion therapies for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

The department staff also provides treatment and disease education.

The department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.

Visitors to our community are encouraged to contact the department to discuss scheduling of needed treatments.

DMG is an important tool in boosting the body’s immune system. What is so incredible about DMG is: how quickly it works (within weeks), how safe it is (there are no known side effects), and how affordable it is (less than US$70 for a 2 month high-dose supply). DMG has been shown to consistently increase T cell / CD4 count in those with cancer and HIV by 50%-300% within 2 months of taking DMG. DMG or N-Dimethylglycine is a non-protein amino acid found naturally in animal and plant cells. It is a non-toxic, solid, water-soluble substance, and has been used as a nutritional supplement for 30-40 years.
